Scientology Today: Sydney Youth Decide to Make Human Rights a Fact: "But the students were not just an audience at this event. Rather, they were active participants, discussing controversial human rights issues and drawing up action plans of what they will do now to increase awareness and implementation of human rights in their areas.

Finally, Ms. Ceberano presented the Hon. David Clarke with a petition containing 16,500 signatures of Australian youth, asking for human rights education to be mandated throughout New South Wales, and for the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to be implemented in full in the state."

My glib response to this was, "what violations of human rights exist in Australia?" The answer I got here is primarily involuntary and purportedly unnecessary detention of immigrants. There are others internally I am sure that are not being pushed in this site, with psychiatric treatment and drugging a considerable epidemic in schools and youth.

Australia, much like the rest of the world is lacking in many instances the basics of human rights being supported as many do not know what human rights are and that they two have a right to them.

The best communication of these rights I've seen, the only ones that communicated to me personally, were covered in the Youth for Human Rights International's public service announcements on the the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. You can see all of them online at the Youth for Human Rights International website. Check them out and pass them along, those rights can balance this world for everyone.

Through the simplification of complexities, the distribution of materials at greater speeds by less trained personnel to less trained customers.

I'm a bit grossed out actually. The whole thing covers what is actually going on, as in Eli Lilly keeping documents hidden on it's suppression of knowledge on proven side effects of Zyprexa. The stuff is great if you like diabetese and obesity. Even better if you like many of it's uses being never approved by the FDA and being campaigned to be used incorrectly by the makers - Eli Lilly themselves - with "off-label marking."

I'm afraid it's not a new conundrum, but we'll milk this one for the next 100 years like we did the last one.

Moral of the story thus far is that the idea of exchanging goods with others with goods is going by the wayside in pockets of society. It is NOT everyone, some people do NOT think that it is alright. But opinions and the self interests of many have drawn a gray line for some on wrong or right for this field.

Anything wrong with a mixed CD from someone? They used to do it with tapes didn't they? Yes, they did. And there was rucous then, less due to it happening less and sounding like crap. What about various artist collections that come free from radio stations? Happens all the time, but it's an ADVERTISEMENT of the band and give the full data on the band, album and record label allowing you to buy it, unlike the common scenario run into where you may have a mix and not even the mixer knows what is on it.

Overriding point falls to exchange, is there exchange or isn't there? Are you just taking? Would you want the same for your products?

Scientology Berlin

Berlin has been the seat of a great deal of civil, economic and political suppression. While better now than any time likely in the last 100+ years, it has still maintained a blade to organized religion and human rights.

A human rights march was organized two days ago in Berlin at the site of new Church of Scientology Berlin. The orgs Grand Opening, also that day, was announced at a New years celebration weeks prior of the Church of Scientology International by the MC of the night, Mr. David Miscavige.

They are moving forward in the city with a number of social betterment campaigns and activities, including human rights, drug prevention and moral values.

As expected, the desktop chip is called the Core 2 Quad 6600 and will join the Core 2 Extreme QX6700 model Intel already ships. The new processor will run at 2.4GHz, and the front-side bus that links the chip to the rest of the system will run at 1066MHz, the company is expected to announce at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week.

The South-East Asian Islands

Over the past 2 days there has been major floods in both Malaysia and in Aceh, Indonesia, between only those two areas there were nearly 200 dead and 300,000 displaced.

The age old problem of hosting your website in some far off forgotten land, and then someone decides they're going to put a backhoe through the fiberoptics of your webhosting company. It's a real pain.

While earthquakes and backhoes are different, sames same in this scenario of the trunks running between Taiwan, Singapore and Korea breaking in the quake's wake.

Used as a social justification for doing it the wrong way, the trunks have been put on top of the ocean floor and not dug deeply in due to the lessened use of phones and increased use of internet services like Skype. This, they say, is decreasing the amount of spending on actual infrastructure. Sounds like a like of mallarky.

But you should find out for yourself, review the balance sheets of telecom companies in Taiwan etc. and see if they're full of it, or if they're presenting a accurate scene.

Now that we have that out of the way. With the amount of people displace in typhoon Durrian and the other 4 in the Philippines over the last few months, why are there only that many people there helping?

There needs to be more people. There needs to be more help. The successes and wins are miracles time and time again. There is a minimum of 40,000 displaced and that's only from the last 2 typhoons.

Man faces poverty

This man is a bit strikinig in the intention and accomplishment. His name is Muhammad Yunus and he stated bluntly on poverty when accepting a Nobel Peace prize:

"Poverty does not belong in civilized human society. Its proper place is in a museum."

He has reduced poverty throughout the land of Bangladesh. With his banks, self-funded, he has spent the last 30 years granting small loans to the poor. Many the loans given were for starting businesses of their own, and has, with loans of this and other types, loaned 6 billion dollars with the average loan being $130. These loans were aslo breaking the mold with models of trust, not of making contractual security, just that of trusting those taking loans would be repaying them.

This is kind of neet, don't know that it's much of a bug but it pulls me in a bit for usage.

The concept is no more than a "centralized" login. How many logins do you have? I have about 75. Different usernames and passwords. I could literally write a novel just on how to log-on to everythinjg that I can log on to.

The openID in that light sounds good, granted this view is all unevaluated as of yet, but their sales copy was very good.

Interesting article, you have the case of the someone who drives a huge SUV, burns coals for Christmas fire. Keeps all of his electric equipment at full blaze all year long - he pays a bit more, but everyone pays.

These are "services" or causes or whatever you like to call them that will take your money for their research and products to help counteract the damage being done to the environment through fuel emitions and the like. Pretty cool, and I think it should keep up.

The researchers found that while drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) -- which include Celexa, Paxil, Prozac and Zoloft -- do increase the risk of suicide attempts, they actually lessened patients' risk of dying by suicide.

That's right, they say you're definitely more likely to try to kill yourself, and you'll definitely be convinced on doing so, but you'll fail.

Colorado Springs residents had a scare a few days ago when garage door openers were failing in many of the home throughout the area. While calls flooded the manufactures, it turns out it was the men the in the white coats, the black suits etc. The Air Force facility atop the Cheyenne Mountain (Cheyenne Mountain Air Station) was broading casting a possible frequency to use in case of a homeland security incident, it happens to be the same signal used in nearly 50 million remote control units.

Many fear now that following this it can only lead to their remote control fans, TVs and electric carving knives. Caution is given to any future remote control devices purchased in the vicinity of Colorado Springs.

This is likely to be the most goodwilled article I will read this holiday season.

It includes a good idea and a one not filled with something so seemingly self serving. I would suggest trying it out, holding a big bash your house, inviting everyone you know and then fundraising for charity. If you get a stage and do the stage fundraising that works out real well given enough energy. Give the article a look and see how you could do it to support something that could help your community, it's good stuff.

Learning how to learn

This is to a large degree very very cool.

An emphasis is given in this of making the students able to study. It's a rare concept today in much of atleast the State's, as the home of my study, version of education. The emphasis generally in bringing tools to the teacher, while this is of paramount importance, it is well tantamount to the importance of the student being able to learn. Otherwise the diaper days never end and you will walk him along every step till he the day he dies with no self-determinism to start with or end with.

If the student can study, he can do anything. Anything that can be done at all, can be done with study and practice. It's a proven fact, people are against the status quo in that they can learn, and they CAN apply. Do they? Not necissarily, but they CAN. If we can beat that concept back in to the head of everyone we'll be heading somewhere.

The spread of this disease, if I'm not mistaken is through actions that could be constitued as un-ethical or immoral, take your pick. Generally promiscuity or in the case of an ernest relationship it's just an irresponsibility considering your knowledge of it. So if you know about the potential hazards then you're right likely to be a scoundrel. If you don't know, then we, those responsible for telling you, have failed you. If it were the case of ethics being in on people, I would bargain 100x the effort could be put into the cure of it but I'll bet that 100x less effort would be needed at that point to cure it.

If you're battling non-survival impulses (which is how they got there), trying to force survival in, it's likely it'll be rough going.

Bush says panel members want America to succeed in Iraq, just as he does.

Do YOU know what success means in this war? Has it been laid down target by target (as in a plan, not a place we're aiming at), what needs to be done on RIGHT NOW to accomplish "success?" I don't know what we're going for.

If we had a terminable goal in mind we would have just done it, the opposition is not so great as to be insurmountable by the U.S.A. The U.S.A. is a powerful nation and if done smartly with the correct force in the correct places, the time necessitated to execute a war plan to a terminable done would not be that long. It's as if we're doing holding actions for lack of something to the point to do, I think that's gross.

With such an enticing package name such as "SeaMonkey," the unfortunate truth accompanying such a beauty if in fact that it uncomfortably settles itselfs into the category of notworking on my machine.

Diagnosis or Opinion?

Psychiatrists have over the past 50 years continued to diagnose patients on the basis of opinion. Today the "bible" of psychiatrists is the DSM, or the Diagnostics and Statistics Manual, while this does not contain statistics it does include list of claimed "mental illnesses." While these "illnesses" are entered into the DSM through a meeting of the APA where a new "illness" is introduced for voting, majority vote rules the illness into the DSM or not. This not related to laboratory testing of any kind.

It's the simple things in life that really make the day.

Take for instance this idiot's guide to using the OS X vixie cron. What's different about it?

Well, the service is com.vixie.cron, but I don't know that really matters considering you don't need to restart the service if you do this it right.

What really matters is the revelation - the command line text editor.

I've been looking (disappointing I never looked for an existing one) for a command line text editor for OS X. I had rigged up a batch script to open up TextEdit with the 'open' utility but that just doesn't cut it. Open executes and returns a successful exit before TextEdit has even prompted. So in the case of crontab -e (edit your cron jobs), subversion (version control system) and a number of other things expecting a temporary file - they don't think you made one even before you get to the editor.

VIM for MAC wasn't flying so I was left workarounds that didn't work, very annoying.

But the above tutorial points out nano - Nano's ANOther editor, an enhanced free Pico clone - which comes standard with Darwin. Glorious revelation I have a command line text editor. The clouds part and freedom calls, I am free of the VNC. I'm not even usually on OS X anymore, I SSH into it, or would SSH/VNC into before now. I repeat, hazaa.

Frivolous Subjects today

Got some frivolousness today.

Dreamweaver is good, solid software. Quanta is good software. Albeit straight HTML editing is not what is the talk of the town but I want a decent WYSIWIG - Macromedia can do it, yet the entire opensource community seems to not do it...why do I harp on this point? Linux support.

I'm on FC 5 (nope, haven't gone to 6), and I love it but I lose when it comes to items like Dreamweaver, Photoshop and just now (2 weeks ago) do I have FlashPlayer 9.

I want more goods dag nabbit, I want more goods.

New on the net is the Drug Free World Foundation. Featured on their site is an impinging new set of booklets going over the truth about drugs and the effects they create. One each for several major drugs including:
crack,
crystal meth,
crack cocaine,
ecstasy,
heroin,
joints,
kiddie coke,
LSD and
painkillers.

It also includes some extremely impinging stories from drug addicts, the extent of which may live you cringing.

Also, unique to this site, is activities on how to effect a drug free world in your community.

Less effective than normal

While it's likely you will not see this unless you're editing with blogger but:

I don't know what day that is. From all the times I recall it saying that I don't clearly have an idea of whether or nto it ever had a day. Is it today? I don't know... So what do I have to do, "Learn more," isn't that annoying?

Why is this less effective than normal? Two reasons now with the wisdom I have gained through this post:

1) A full timestamp is normal, there is no reason to hide it - barring being less effective in communicating the situation.
2) It would have been more effective if I had posted this to a blogger blog about blogger and blogger changes wanted insteaded of this clique.

I actually wouldn't say much in the way of making this one any more amazing than it is. It's not petty theft sure, but I wouldn't give it any more a glorious title than theft. A few points here:

Theft, criminal exchange
Disregard for your responsibility in the well being of others.

Can you image this characterists being there for everyone?

Would we have firefighters? Not unless they were in the Farentheit 451 wise. Policemen? Nothing more than uniformed militia at that point.

This is all to indicative of technology not keeping up.

In this I am really talking about things such as lasers and hendheld heatbeam generators.

Heat beam could have been being engineer sincle the release of Superman in Action Comics.

Lasers seems to have been developed somewhat but not for right things quite yet.

Priorty as the above showed - the laser snow shovel. It could be similar in many ways to the shovel but instead of lifting or moving it will be concentrated on vaporizing utterly and completed.

How about the heat beams? Unlimited use: cold food, frozen shut itemry and drying stuff.

These technologies need to get under way right away.

Why is it thought to be a good idea using nuclear weaponry?

It's likely we could lose this planet (a small one I might add) using that kind of crap.

This planet was not made to operate with that kind of crap. Even if the intention was to a nail particular group or nation, the effects of fallout alone would be farther spread than would be intended by any interested party.

The likelyhood of tactical nuclear weaponry is slim in my opinion. It has not yet shown through to me that tactical usage has been the point of testing. That would be bad still, it's use being so sporadic that entire areas would be under quarentine do to a lack of knownledge on the state of it's contamination. From the seeming lack of danger apparent from gorilla-like battlegrounds it would likely lure more to sickness and disease accomanying occupation of areas like that.

Oh ya, you could also blow a chunk out of the planet and knock the axis...or burn a hole severe enough in the ozone to endanger life on the planet as a whole.

So I guess there is not too much going against doing this kind of thing - just ape level logic on the survival of any creature on the planet.

My message to those involved:

Knock of the tiddly-winks with the people of this planet, we don't need it.

Scary note on that one, a software program can provide some insight as what people were "actually saying" or to say exactly what would been the correct response and making that what was "actually said." I'm diggin' this. Contextually I could care less. Whether any of it matters at all or not hardly comes to mind in the least really.

The plus point in all this is that they're trying to calm disputes internally. Even if we're doing it all wrong, which may or may not be the case and I'm not evaluating that data now, the point is that there is some underlying push for A NATION. Sure it may be underhanded thirst for power but if we divide as a nation we have all failed. If the top of this nation crumbles and we reunite under one banner for whatever the right thing is, atleast we may survive as a group and not simply die off as individuals, a nation of cats.

Look out for those seeing to us believes it's all awry, merchants of chaos, those who have something to gain, they feel, from if the environment is made to look more threatening.

I read Of Mice and Men when I was 14. Do I break necks or go be impoverished or work hard for my goals and aspirations? Barring that last, no I don't.

The book is terribly upsetting in a way, but not in a bad way. But I read the news today - gunman in Colorado AGAIN. The last one was on psych drugs comparable to cocaine, do we expect this one to be? Oh, you say it wasn't the drugs known for those side effects? Oh, it was the childrens book that have been around for a long time and have been read by a lot of people and have stayed a constant in society? Oh good, so we can rule out the the only change, being as it was only psychotropic drugs being shoved down these kids gullets.

Sounds like they might have had some kind of a good idea, a good intention, but unions over many many years have done really really well in destroying employees and the organizations they FORM. It is an idea likely to be abstract to many involved in these dealings that the workers, belive it or not, ARE THE ORGANIZATION. While many people are have some funny ideas and think that cutting hundreds of thousands of people is a good idea and don't understand or even try to comprehend what an ORGANIZATION really is.

Is management another organization than the workers?

It could be, wouldn't be the first time it's ever happened. Let's assume that it's not for this. We'll assume it's one big company. If they cut 50,000 jobs, thay're admitting to their own failure in planning. Organizations expand not only in money but in production, can more people produce more? Properly organized and MANAGED yes they can. They don't have to become a mob. They can be THE TEAM, THE ORGANIZATION. I know it's odd in today's economy, but I don't think we're gaining by trying to succeed with someone else's failure programmed in from the start.

Homes have more TVs than people

Unfortunately I'll come from experience on this one.

While not ever owning more TVs than people at any given time I watched an examplory amount of TV for advertisers and network executives.

More TVs is not necissarily a bad sign, the statistic alone means very little. Given the datum that they watch it bit and piece but are moving around all the time is a good one, might mean they have interest but are in the midst of doing something. But it could mean:

They never one want to miss a single minute.

They don't want to watch the same things as others.

Different TVs for different uses.

They just don't get rid of their old sets.

But why they have more hardly matters. Their behavior with them can get a bit rough. A few points with TV:

Do you watch for lack of something else to do?

Are you scanning through the channels hoping something good is on?

I could drone on with that one but it's just drawing it back to purpose. I watch TV now usually for the speed in which I can get in depth news covereage very quickly. While usability and validity are not a guarentee that goes with the territory. Otherwise I watch it for advertising, I enjoy advertising and marketing, so ads are often more enjoyable for me than most of the rest of it.

But what in that is different then "lack of something else to do" for example? TV is something to DO, not something to have done to you.

If you see someone aimlessly at the TV, that's a bug worth proding until debugged. That way of acting may well go all the way to workplace and study, then what?

Can you imagine being so stuck in past incidents that it made sense to you to steal something from a court while on trial there for theft?

Of course one shouldn't put all his attention on those out there who are nuts or criminal, they do need help and rehabilation programs exist in such a case. I'd say someone working to help the planet at this stage in the game should be working to make the able more able, and get those who are going to get on board and get ball rolling in their zone. There's a lot to do, we're not staring down nuclear war between 2 super powers, we're living in a cave on that fact there are many nations with nuclear weaponry and there is only a handful of people on the planet working to handle that scenario.

Crushing the competition

We must carry on support Dwayne Johnson, or properly known as - The Rock.

Here's some basics to why we must persist, while there were no true "Rock" movie since 2003, he has been in some films with lesser roles. What is needed is to keep up the number of films he's staring in at the same level as he was from 2001-2003.

Key points in his career:

In Walking Tall (may have been the other film he released around the same time, they're all so good you know) he shoots down a group of bandits with two pump action shotguns both opperated in the same hand with his arm fully extended, he arm did not implode as it technically should have.

These are mere samplings of his greatness while there is obviously more, evidenced by this alone.

My suggestions are 4 more Scorpion Kings before 2009 and seven more films with Christopher Walken by 2012.

This must be kept under constant vigilance.

This does not make the statements made by the Governor bad or good. His comments were "off-color" and reportedly against the mores of the group - he can learn this (and seems to have) and get on with it. And to be honest I don't know how the voters would have reacted to it were it not released to incriminate the Governly solely and completely.

The tapes being gotten through less than ethical means is a bit rough. Password protected materials released publically to the media? He's out to get him rather obviously. That in itself is pretty vicious, I don't know I would trust him short of his complete handling on the subject. If he did it to him, would he do it to someone else? A constituent that wasn't "voting correctly?" I bet you couldn't name a person who hadn't said something that could be taken as off-color whether intended or not.

The intentional incrimination of someone through releasing random comments like that is weird. Next time it's to reveal criminal activities, I'm all ears. We don't need criminals in the office.

I would keep an eye for this mudslinging stuff. Really all the context of the scene aside the only concerns I take in to account is the effectiveness of the government office in increasing the prosperity of the state and the lack of criminal actions reducing it's prosperity.

Constant fires since June 6

Fires in northern Nevada going constant for three months?

That can certainly occur with the strength of fire, but with 50 states in the U.S. (48 U.S. proper), the National Guard, the Army, the Navy, the air force and the private sector, could we not have had that stopped faster?

Why let it burn?

Oh, Nevada is burning? I can shrug that off, not my state. It isn't we would fight together in a war or live under the same nation, flag and laws.

Is it that we're striving for individualism through being the only one? Not a pretended individualism but actually the only one left because instead of helping we'll let them fend with it and succeed or die in the attempt.

This is a bug of magnitude. I say look to the Scientology Handbook, with extra attention on the sections Integrity and Honesty, Communication and Assists for Injury and Illness.

Assists immediately on the workers, Communication for everyone and Integrity and Honest for everyone who should have jumped on the bandwagon and handled the emergency before it consumed Nevada.

I want to keep up with this, if the Nation isn't a nation it very well may collapse and I think we're smart enough to stop that from happening.

My beef on this one is that they keep on having disasters. It isn't normal. I don't think there should be any disasters in the area, it's hardly practical and it's rather unusual. These conitinuous ups and downs only point up to just that, Up and Downs. That's where I'd look.

It's not a normal condition to have disaster after disaster, if nothing else it looks like they need a bigger problem than those they have now, not to be snide but just a matter of course. If randomity is too low for myself, I'll pull in something to handle, I'm not likely to go to far without having a problem. It's what the mind is for in the first place, solving problems. China's New History

In Shanghai they are implementing a new curriculum for history taking the emphasis off of the emporers and dynasties and on to economics, technology, social customs and globalization.

The imperial history lesson had become less and less real to students as the generations have rolled on, the Marxist curriculum not being held letter for letter in modern day China.

The new curriculum is thought to hold closer to the goals of the chinese government of today and give students more data applicable to the real world in China.

Socialism has been reduced to a single chapter in the senior high school history, Chinese Communism before economic reform in 1979 is covered in a sentence and Mao is mentioned only once in a chapter on ettiquete.

While the pros and cons are still in debate in china they will be in to a broad scale pilot in Shanghai following a number of schools that put it into pilot in fall on an expirement.

I would like to see the present history books and see these for comparison to get a first-hand idea of what the scene is, but from this 20^30-hand data it seems like we're going in the right direction.

I would not say the history need be utterly neglected but put forward as datums and the student can see what he see's in the whole picture. While the subjects where there involves more practical and applicable data the use of a classroom could become rather beneficial.

Keep sharp to track this one, there could be a lot more coming.

Ride the California Tailpipe to Freedom

Ah! Keep tabs one and all, a new bill over a 14 year time period has started.

The Governor, of my fair state, California Mr. Arnold Schwarzenager now has a bill approved that is being implemented over concerns for greenhouse emissions in the world.

The intention is to lower emissions back to the level they were in 1990, a decrease of 25% by the year 2020. A bold move in California where the power plants, cement kilns etc. are the main sources of most emissions effecting this but where the car and truck exhaust have a greater effect on the overall condition than most other places on the planet.

This is a touchy subject as far as emission controls are and disputes already are existing in the courts between car industry organizations against emission controls being enacted on cars in California.

The deadline can be put off by a year in case of natural emergency or something to this effect, but can as well be changed by another bill to change this one.

Opinions and concerns aside, for a long term item to track this could be interesting to see roll out or attempt to fade off. It doesn't have to fade, we can see it through to the end.

Employee Cut

The point of this article I'd guess is to arouse meandering talk about the dehumanization and impersonality developing in a cold and comuterized age. That's fine, I understand the concern. It's a wrong target, it's the people not the machines doing what you think is wrong. But I don't care about that all that much, I think the biggest handling for such an operation like that is in the Scientology Handbook (section on Integrity and Honesty).

But my area of concern in the whole thing is that they are laying off 400 people, period. Why lay someone off?

Cut back on costs? Sounds like your staff aren't productive. Shouldn't your personnel be the reason for your income? Wouldn't they cause the products to move out and the items to move in? Would it not make sense to force them to increase the viability of the company? Unless the finances are a pretense, one should have in mind that the viability of the company is originated FROM the company. If they aren't making their way transfer them, demote them, promote them, correct them, train them or just plain MAKE THEM PRODUCE. I don't think the concept is too far away from people that no one should be paid for their idle presence unless they in their idlesness produce a product that be exchanged for a valuable. If they don't and they not trying to ruin your group, make it so they are producing products that can be exchanged.

Again I reference the Scientology Handbook, in addition to the above I would suggest the sections on Ethics and Conditions, the Dynamics of Existence and Planninf for the Future. I would also say to see WISE (What is WISE?) on business technology.

This should stay tabbed, even if handled in one area it's unfortunately not an isoluted bug, it's buttered all over the place. If you spot it, squash it.

I really do like Apple, their initiative and creative R&D has definitely pushed the computer industry forward in leaps and bounds... truth be told I'm actually linux/unix fan since they switched to a BSD core with the best linux GUI on the market, I've been sold, hardcore.

But generally I don't like my computers not bursting into flames even though I'm an AMD fan (they didn't ever flame in my experience, but they are one with your mother board if you aren't keeping track).

So it is with the Sony lithiom-ion battery in iBooks, bursting into flames..standard operating basis for a batter, no?

Not all the fault of Apple, same thing happening to Sony just months prior. But I would rather like it if it were an over the ramparts effort to make good on the dangers sold by the companies. It's actually an excellent oppurtunity for these companies to earn some great goodwill by actions like these. Take the flap and turn it into a hit, it's possible.

All in all I say just watch out for these minimalistic "Our product may burst into flames" announcements, it's not fair to them or the customer... and you should learn linux, that way jokes like this are fun for you and family.

Here's my question on this one, how do we know it was a "herbivorous reptile?" I saw someone wearing a some Converse the other day, she must be a skater...or basketball player...or baseball player circa 1950... Umm, I don't know. Why don't I know? I'm guess, I'm assuming.

80 million years ago? Maybe, I have no idea. There's too many loose ends on this guy. It's cool I agree we found something that looks so neat. But the investigation needs to be bolstered and made on direct observation, certain conclusion. Have we monitored, tested and verified?

This could be a bug in bug tracking. Who's monitoring monitoring for the purpose of perfect monitoring?

For analysis I suggest two references, one is the Scientology Handbook, specifically the section on Investigation. Second I would suggest is the book Dianetics: The Evolution of a Science, this details usable and far from esoteric logic in investigation. There are additional books and references by the same author (L. Ron Hubbard) that cover about every other inch not covered in those. I would suggest them all as they dovetail as a comprehensive work, a good list of them can be found here and here.

I'm just looking for numbers

There is nothing wrong with the intention to rebuild areas damaged and destroyed by hurricanes. And there is nothing wrong with the government wanting to provide the funds to do this.

In the case of Louisianna and the site of Hurricane Katrina, does it take 110 billion dollars to do this? It could, but I don't know, so I'm asking.

Just listing everything out, do we come up to 110 billion dollars? Take everything involved:

Residential housing

Homes

Business buildings
Government buildings
Educational services short term and long term
Utility services (I don't know how many of these were lost)

Gas
Electricity
Water

Roads
Train infrastructure
Tram system
Waterworks outside of internal corp
Workers to do the above

Other possibilities:

Compensation for support to adjacent states
7 More super domes

Maybe not that last one but it could happen...

I don't know that it is so far fetched to spend 110 billion dollars on reconstruction. This additionally include short term and long term planning. One covering necessities today while the structures to be used in the future are being constructed. In this I hope only that the shortsight of having all of the citizens figure out what they want to do or not do anything while the state is rebuilt around them then they will degree immediately upon removal of government help.

What's needed is smart planning and I'd bet they have a lot of it, but *pie dreams* they should in futures on this one. What about the continuation program? Pilot an IDEAL CITY.

Have established exactly what will pass for the Ideal Scene? I'm sure there's a nostalgic want for drunks, drugs and parties 24/7. But we could be going for something better than that, couldn't we? It's a perfect oppurtunity, we have the people, the land, the resources, the WANT. Who sais we have to make another American mediocracy? We could make it the biggest city in thhe world just for kicks if nothing else.

So there's my spout on it, if I had 110 billion dollars, I'd really make sure what I was doing was for greatest good because it can really not be.

Seat Equality and False Alarms

Now this article is a bit of a stretch for the front page of U.S. national news. But I'll take it up and we'll see what should be noted for handling.

O.K., so we have 9 black children, a white bus driver, and a single unverified and heretofore uninvestigated report on racism.

Wow.

Of course the racism aspect is loony. Assign 9 children, of any race, color or creed, to two seats on a bus is ridiculous.

If the driver did it, O.K., he operating against the group and should be handled accordingly. There are any plethera of options available to handle that one.

But on the broader picture, why am I reading this? This is again a SINGLE incident in a SMALL town with ONE person and yet UNVERIFIED. I went to a high school with more students then were in that entire school district. So what's the point of this? Was the title supposed to be:

"White Supremacists Rain in the Southern States Again"

Who's leg are we pulling anyway? Let's get real here, I'd refer to this for handling. I believe this is the root to the bug. False alarm, watch out for the screaming warning signs which bode no good but no actual harm, they're dangerous.

Now I don't know what people are thinking when they write articles like this, but I have to say somebody is full of crap.

This article is ridiculous.

Point #1

Journalism with the purpose to destroy companies publically.

Alright so it's wrong to be criminal, agreed. How are they criminal? They are committing acts to decieve and so gain personal profit against the mores of the group. A few actions can be taken, one being corrected the individual or group committing the criminal acts. If they would not, when confronted with their wrong doings, change their ways and get honest and straight, then one could force their ethics in with justice.

While that's one way, we could go the other way. Someone is doing something wrong, make him so publically outcast and wrong for everything he does and crush him. If we're lucky the group will only collapse and ruin anyone attached to it, including those unrelated to the criminality. At very best their tune changes, they clean up and make up their damage. At very worst, they are so publically outcast we put them in to a criminal desperation. Get them in the mindset of, "What do I have to do to feed my family when everyone is against me?" They were already criminal, so going in to that next step of "everyone's against me" may not even be new, just exposed. So now you have a desperate raving criminal corporation, group or individual on your hands which, since you never tried to handle at all you probably aren't even looking at, is assumed to be changed because he was so publically blasted for it before, but it's likely he'll be changed only in being more covert about his illegal dealings.

So why do it? It could just be ignorance, but we've all been around a long time, and those up to that level of business are not ignorant.

The intentions could be any number of things, but that is clouded by the next point.

Point #2.

For anyone to write an article about this in such a la-la laxsidasical wishy-washy way points up to there being 10 times as many thing that shouldn't be in the immediate topic than shown in the article and probably 100-1000x in that area overall.

ADHD - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

This is one of my old favorites. The kind that even after it goes rotten and begins it's own pre-apolyptic fermentation on your kitchen table, you just can't seem to get rid of.

But what all do we have in this here ADHD.

The disease itself was voted on in 1987 at a Committee meeting of the American Psychiatric Association (APA). They at this committee by a show of hands vote in diseases to their billing book the Diagnostic and Stastical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

Though there is an utter lack of objective proof, millions of children today now take drugs on this pretense.

The Drugs

Let's take one of the cornacopia of drugs available — Ritalin. Ritalin is a common name for methylphenidate, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) classified it as a Schedule II narcotic — the same classification as cocaine, morphine and amphetamines. It's abused for it's stimulant effect and affectionality refered to a Kiddie Cocaine.

Another point that could be lost in the mist would be who.

The use of psychotropic drugs to handle a childs inclination to physical activity or their lack of vigilent attention is not natural phenomena, rather, it is the dementia plans written by someone.

Take for instance James Swanson of the U.S. National Institute for Mental Health. One of the foremost proponents of ADHD as a disease. He addressed a meeting of the American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry, then admitting: “I would like to have an objective diagnosis for the disorder [ADHD]. Right now psychiatric diagnosis is completely subjective....We would like to have biological tests—a dream of psychiatry for many years.”

So Mr. Swanson is guessing wether or not a child has "ADHD." Is this a good enough reason to put a child on psychotropic drugs? Does an itch warrant a morphine prescription?

Does that fit with the fact that in 2000, international sales of antipsychotic drugs reached $6 billion. And iin 2001, antidepressant sales climbed to $12.5 billion. Today, that figure is near $20 billion.

Don't let this one fester on the table, this is a critical bug.

Politics: Bug Tracking

I am implementing a new forum here based on a recommendation from the_alf. I am tracking bugs of politicians so myself and others can keep up with all the issues that come up and seem to collapse out of the public mind like Flan in a cupboard.

Issue I:

Middle eastern state of affairs. Let's log this one at abotu 1947, the creation of Israel following WWII. The theme has been similar since the mid-50s, peace in the Middle East.

I won't get into the waff-waff and huff-huff of the thing, but I'll say it's been a bugged target of peace for 40+ years.

This of course is still in the public eye, but I'd warrant that the fact there is conflict in this area of the world has become "that's how things are" and brushed off. I'm logging this one now because conflict like that doesn't keep on if the people working on it are trying to handle it. With a quick search and I find one resource here.

Bugs are made, they don't just happen.
